A visit to Abeids Spice Farm, the pioneer in spice farming and still the best and most authentic one, will surprise your mind and senses. Abeid grows spices and fruits that you have only come across dried or in the shop back home. Here you will see them in their natural habitat. Did you know that he cardamom grows in the soil? Or that peanut is not a nut but a bean?
Other crops you might come across, all depending on season is ginger, cinnamon, pepper, chilli, banana, mangosteen, vanilla ( which they actually pollinate manually), nutmeg, orange and more. You can smell and taste all of them. Abeids wife and family prepare you a very tasty meal after the tour. It is cooked from raw material grown on their neighboring farm.
